As 2020 lingers on, so do so many small businesses fighting to keep their doors open. These small businesses are the backbone of our neighborhoods and cities, the places people gather and where culture and connection are fostered. One of the hardest-hit industries is the hospitality industry. As big business keeps swallowing the little guys, there are a lot of us fighting to hold our stakes in our communities.
A recent study found that independently-owned businesses recirculated 78% of their total revenue back into their communities where national chains only recirculated 30%. As many of you know we roast coffee sourced from around the world and deliver it to cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores locally. A lot of our cafe friends have been hit hard from everything 2020 and that is why we want to help out however we can.
