Guatemala Alejandro Reynoso
La Colina is a high-elevation farm east of Guatemala City, now led by producer Alejandro Reynoso. After his father Herlindo passed away in 2020, Alejandro stepped away from his own business to carry on the legacy, bringing fresh energy, a commitment to quality, and a hands-on approach to farming. Grown at 1,750 meters, the coffee from La Colina reflects the farm’s ideal climate and volcanic soil. Alejandro focuses on traditional varieties like Bourbon and Caturra, and has steadily improved post-harvest practices to enhance clarity, sweetness, and complexity in the cup. We’ve had the honor of visiting Alejandro and his farm in 2024 and 2025, and each visit has shown real progress. Alejandro’s care for the land and dedication to quality shine through in every lot. We’re proud to share his coffee with our community in Michigan and beyond.
