Join Aaron and Davyd as they take you behind the scenes on their recent trip to Ethiopia. Get to know the farms, the producers, the stories, and the process that make this region so unique. 

More than just a cupping event, this is a chance to have an interactive experience on how our beans are sourced. We'll talk about our partners in Ethiopia and give you a peek behind the curtain of what it takes to bring specialty coffee to Southwest Michigan. 

What to Expect

Ethiopia Recap 

Aaron and Davyd will you through their sourcing trip, from the farms they visited to the relationships they've formed. Expect photos, stories, and a few surprises from the road. 

Guided Cupping 

Taste a selection of Ethiopian coffees side by side and learn how to pick up on the notes, acidity, and body that make each unique. You'll be able to taste different coffee varietals side by side - naturals, washed, and honey. 

Roaster Talk with Nick

Get a breakdown of our roasting process along with on-site sample roasting of our new Ethiopian processes. Here from Nick about how we go about creating the different profiles of each coffee. 

Coffee Takeaway 

Everyone will get a nice large sample to have at home and experience the beauty of Ethiopia in their cup at home.
